We really need a vacation. We've been holding off because we're going to be in SA for about a month and want to keep saving and building up our holiday time, but I don't know if we'll make it! We both like to travel and feel like we need to get away, especially before I start into another school year.
There are about 5-6 days we can hopefully take at the end of August and part of me wants to just splurge and fly somewhere fun (maybe Disney World??). Then my practical side kicks in and I try to think of something a little more budget friendly.
If anybody out there has any great suggestions, we'd love them!

Oh you should do something fun! Holidays that are actually "holidays" don't happen once you have kids, it's always about their needs first, so yep, I say go for it!

ReplyDeleteGo for it! I am partial to Disney land and the California Coast, but Florida is awesome too! If you do go to Florida, you should do the Keys, we went there for our 10 year anniversary and it was awesome!
And, in our experience holidays still happen...it just take more effort. We try and get away once a year sans kids!
Things will fall into place for SA...you guys need some time!

Did ou get away yet? I'd say 5 years is worth celebrating. Live life to the fullest. Don't let the wait hold you back. It's good to get your mind off the waiting and I think it's wise to invest in your marriage too. Hope you two have a great time wherever you go. Check out priceline and other sites like that to save deals. Also, try craigslist in San Diego for deals on Disney. Trust me it saves you money.
